Google Pixel 2017 leaked!
The most prominent and beautiful feature of the Pixel 2 sits right at the front flaunting its thin frames and stunning curves. The front looks like the perfect mixture between the S8 and LG G6, which is kind of the sweet spot in displays currently. The front is entirely clean of any branding just like the previous pixels and at the top sits a long earpiece along with the front camera. Since the sensors are not visible, I'd guess that they are placed below the earpiece grill.
The back brings more of the design cues from the previous pixel devices with the dual tone finish and a similarly placed fingerprint scanner. The only thing that bothers me is the slightly ugly-looking and off-placed camera module, however, the huge camera cutout might also mean that we've got a larger sensor at work here. I believe there will be a few major changes to the design before the final product comes out.
While HTC made Pixel devices were really great, I am happy to see LG(strongly rumored) on the drawing board this time. HTC does make good devices but LG's track record with Google smartphones has been unbeaten, and while all Nexus devices were quite popular the Nexus 4
and Nexus 5
had no competition. These are still used by many people in the world, even I own a Nexus 5 and it hasn't bailed on me once. Both the Pixel's are expected to release somewhere around October and looking at the renders a lot of people will be saving up to buy one of these.
