The company is pretty excited about the launch and let's be honest, so are we!
George Zhao, the Global President of Honor has confirmed in interviews that the Honor 7X will launch in December. The better part of this news is that he said that the phone will be launched at an 'unbeatable' price.
Midrange phone fans, are you listening?
The mission of the company right now is to increase its sales in India through launching premium handsets at affordable prices. Zhao also mentioned that the Honor 7X will be available at “a price that it will have no competitor in that segment.” The company looks pretty confident about its success in India and we are waiting for it to turn into reality soon.
The phone recently came out in China and became a huge success. Honor 7X has three variants in China and we're not yet sure if they all would be available in India. The difference in the three variants is majorly in terms of their RAM. The first variant has a RAM of 32 GB and is available at a cost of 1,299 yuan in China. The second variant with a 64 GB RAM is priced at 1,699 yuan and the third variant with a 128 GB RAM costs 1,999 yuan.
The Indian prices for these variants are INR 12,700, INR 16,600 and INR 19,500 respectively. The prices are expected to be around the Chinese cost only and one can almost be sure about these being the same in India as well.
Zhao also believes that the company needs to ace up its promotional strategies in the Indian subcontinent.
He was also quoted as saying, “We have the capability to out-compete other dominating players in the Indian smartphone market in terms of quality, but our marketing efforts need to improve.”
