LeEco CEO Jia Yueting stepped down of his post
LeEco is all set to see new changes in its company. The CEO of the company Jia Yeuting has stepped down from his post and will be replaced by Lenovo's former executive Liang Jun. Jia Yeuting will now focus on Product Innovation and Strategic Planning and will continue to be the chairman of the company.
We all know, that the company hasn't looked good in past few months. The company went out of cash, and even laid off several employees from its Indian team including top most executives. The rumors about a company to exit the Indian market also came up. However, the company rejected the rumor stating that India continues to be the top priority market. A lot happened, and to get things under control it needed some drastic changes to bring the company on track some changes needed to be done.
The reports also tell that the company is now gearing up for another round of major job cuts. LeEco's LeSports will lay off up to 70% of its employees whereas the US subsidiary is rumored to sack about 30% of its total strength.
