A new Geekbench spotting has surprisingly revealed contradicting info regarding the Moto G6 Plus yesterday. Motorola is poised to launch the G6 series on April 19 and the Moto G6 Plus will be the cream of the crop. The handset has been consistently thought to come with a Snapdragon 630 CPU up till now. But the new Geekbench report shows a Snapdragon 660 chip, which is obviously good news.

Besides the processor, the test detected 4GB of RAM onboard the handset. It is believed that there will 3GB +32GB variant and a 4GB variant with 64GB as well. The test also detected Android 8.0 running on the handset which isn't a surprise. In a related story, the Moto G6 Play was also spotted on Geekbench and both the other two variants are supposed to feature middling Snapdragon 4xx chipsets. The series will also be modernized with 18:9 aspect ratio displays and thankfully no notch. For those disgusted with the notch, the Moto G6 series will be a pleasing safe haven.
As for other specs, the Moto G6 Plus should likely boast a 5.7-inch Full-HD+ display. A 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup should adorn the metal rear cover while a 16MP front shooter is supposed to be on the front.
