Note 8 leaked in an official tweet by Samsung
has never been good at keeping secrets and lately the official launch events have become more of a formality. Well, this time around it's the Note 8
and it's a big one too. An official tweet from Samsung's official handle had the image of Note 8 in the background and while we've had a lot of previous leaks
, this is the first one that comes straight from the horse's mouth(or at least it's twitter handle).
The tweet talks about the Exynos 8895 and although the chipset was supposed to be the center of attention, it's instead of the device lying behind innocently. The device has an infinity display we saw in the S8
with the familiar curves, but the build is a lot more squarish, which led us to believe that this might indeed be the Note 8. According to recent leaks, the Note 8 will feature a 6.3 inch super AMOLED display with 2K resolution, 18.5:9 aspect ratio, 6GB RAM, and dual 12MP rear sensors with optical image stabilization. The battery will be a safe 3,300mAh and while we are pretty sure that the device won't blow up, it won't hurt to keep a fire extinguisher nearby.
The Note 8 is expected to be unveiled this month and will hit the stores around mid-August.
