Vivo India has launched the
Vivo Y71 in India today. The phone has been launched at a price of Rs 10,990 and will be available for buying from April 14th. You can buy the phone from all the major e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm. The phone will also be available in offline stores from tomorrow. It has been launched in two colour variants - Matte Black and Gold.

The Vivo Y71 features a 5.98-inch FullView display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone has minimum bezels on all the four sides and the phone lacks a fingerprints sensor. Yes, the device comes with a Face Unlock feature although it cannot be expected to be as accurate as iPhone X or as fast as the OnePlus 5T. However, the feature is efficient enough to lower the volume of incoming calls and notifications if you're looking at it.
Apart from this, the phone runs on the respectable Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and a16GB of ROM. The native storage on the phone is expandable via a microSD card. The camera department on the phone carries decent megapixels as the brand is known for giving a lot of attention to photography. The main shooter comes with a 13MP shooter with PDAF claims to be brilliant at low-light photography. A 5MP selfie snapper is also included in the package with an AI Face Beauty feature.
The AI Face Beauty feature identifies gender, age, skin tone and texture to apply a range of beauty effects to enhance selfies. The Vivo Y71 comes as a competitor to the likes of the Honor 9 Lite and Redmi Note 5 (roughly).
