In mid-November we posted about a Vivo sub Rs 10,000 handset with notch display is coming. The Chinese smartphone maker has made that smartphone now official in India. It is called Vivo Y81i. This handset is a Vivo's attempt to get into the heart of budget smartphone users in the country. Let's talk about the Vivo Y81i specifications below.

Vivo Y81i specs & price
Sporting a 6.22-inch HD+ display, it comes with a notch design and has a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is Vivo's cheapest smartphone with a notch display design. Talking about the internal specifications, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, which is accompanied by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It is not the best RAM and storage configuration, but it shall do the job as claimed by the company.
Running on the FunTouch OS based on the Android 8.1 Oreo, it has a 3260 mAh capacity battery. The Vivo Y81i comes with a 13MP rear camera which is aided by an AI Face Beauty. There is an LED Flash support for the rear camera for low-light photography. On the front, you can take a 5MP AI selfie.
As far as the biometric security is concerned, it packs a Face ID feature, unfortunately, there is no fingerprint sensor. In case you want to expand the storage, it is unknown whether there is an expansion slot or not. Coming to the connectivity features, it has a dual SIM dual standby support, 4G LTE, and other range of standard connectivity features. All this could be purchased at Rs 8,490 in India. This phone would be available in all major brick and mortar (offline retail shops) stores in India.
