Xiaomi has recently proven its metal in India as it became the highest selling smartphone brand. The company is doing innovative things since it has gained the consumer appreciation now. A new rumour has confirmed that the Chinese OEM is working on gaming smartphones. Xiaomi has an alleged subsidiary known as the Nanchang Black Shark Technology Co. Ltd.
Black Shark makes gaming smartphones primarily and it has made a new Weibo account which says the same. It is wise of Xiaomi to work on the gaming smartphone segment through a subsidiary. Black Shark has not yet teased any products but it continues to write game reviews.

Rumour has it that a new smartphone is even getting referenced by a government agency. This phone is likely to have an advanced cooling system called aviation class and a powerful processor. Gaming smartphones require an efficient cooling system and if you put a thought into what's happening, it fits. Most regular phones have a powerful processor which manages power efficiently but cannot avoid the overheating of the device. This is why we have a need for gaming smartphones which make the whole experience better.
However, one cannot get too excited since Xiaomi has not confirmed anything. On the other hand, Sun Changxu, an employee in Xiaomi is now working for Black Shark and there are chances that these rumours have some truth to them. If Xiaomi plans on competing in the gaming smartphones segment, the Razer Phone is probably its strongest opponent. The phone is nothing less than impressive. Also, Asus is allegedly working on a gaming smartphone which will launch this year only. Wouldn't it be interesting to see so many brands entering a new niche?
