According to speculations, Alcatel will release six smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (2018). The MWC is to be held next month in Barcelona, Spain. Fresh renders have revealed the colour variants of the Alcatel 3c smartphone. The Alcatel 3c model will come in three colour choices – Metallic Black, Metallic Blue, and Metallic Gold. The smartphone will weigh up to 168g and will have a dimension of 161 x 76 x 7.9mm. It will feature a polycarbonate chassis with a metallic finish.
The rumours suggest that the Alcatel 3c will be a budget phone and will have a 6-inch display and a resolution of 720 x 1440p. The screen will have an aspect ratio of 18:9 and will be powered by MediaTek MT8321 chipset which includes a quad-core processor. The SoC will be coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and will have a place for a microSD card. The presence of a microSD card signifies expanding memory but up to what extent, is still unknown.
It will have an 8MP rear camera along with a 5MP front camera, both cameras will sport an LED flash. The device will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat and will come packed with a 3,000mAh battery. It will have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and dual-SIM.
