The release of Xiaomi’s Mi Max 3 is expected in July by the word of Xiaomi’s officials. Now that we’re halfway past June, well almost, it is time we heard a bit about the Mi Max 3. So here’s some food for thought. A leaked image of the alleged Mi Max 3 front panel has just reached us today along with a video of it in production.
The most surprising thing with the front panel seems to be the change of design. The Mi Max series, despite being almost a phablet, has never had slim bezels. And here all of a sudden, you’re looking at a tri-bezel-less device. It’s almost like you’re looking at a Mi Mix 2 front panel.
Mi Max 3 Design
Aside from the image, the short clip that shows the purported device in production also does no much more than show the rear of the phone. There are dual-cameras and a fingerprint reader cutout visible. However, none of the two pieces of evidence are concrete proof that this is indeed the Mi Max 3 design.
We can at least vouch for the video not being a hoax because it would fall in line with the Mi Max 2 design. However, the front panel image looks very fishy.
As for concrete info, the closest we can get is 3C certification. A certain Xiaomi model number M1807E8S passed the necessary legal jurisdiction recently and is believed to be the Mi Max3. Again, It can not be said with full confidence that this is the Mi Max 3.
Meanwhile, the rumour mill is cooking up stuff regarding the Mi Max 3. Talk around Chinese water coolers is that the handset will be 6.99-inches this time around and the battery will be at least 5,500mAh. Like we said, this is all conjured up by the rumour mill for now.
