In case you’re looking to give your Bluetooth or 3.5mm audio jack supported speaker set a voice, you could buy the Amazon Echo Input. This will enable any speaker with those compatibilities into a smart speaker. Add the power of Alexa to the existing speakers at your place with the all-new Echo Input.

Touted to be smaller in size with 12.5mm thickness, less than a deck of cards, it could easily blend into every room at your home. Talking about the design, it comes with 4 microphone array, thus your voice can be heard by Alexa from all corners of the room. It has 3.5mm audio jack, micro-USB power, LED light, microphone off button, and an action button to switch the functionality ON.

How to Connect Echo Input to speakers?

Connecting the speakers is quite an easy task as claimed by the company. All users would have to do is download the Alexa app on their phone, iOS, and Android both available. Make sure the Echo Input is plugged into a power wall unit, connect to Wi-Fi, and register on Alexa app. Further, you would have to connect speakers with 3.5mm audio cable, or over Bluetooth using Alexa app. Once done, you’re good to go!

Now fire away your queries to Alexa. Voice control your music, or everyday tasks like a reminder, alerts, weather update, or just ask Alexa how’s the traffic before you head out for that dinner date you don’t want to be late to. Alexa will be adding skills over the time, so it will grow as you grow.

Interestingly with Echo Input, you can do more than just play music and set reminders. If you want to make your home smarter and are looking to turn your AC, lights, and TV controllable using voice commands. Then, all you have to do is purchase the Alexa compatible devices and turn almost every electronics item into a smart device.
