The Apple Home Pod which was unveiled in June and expected to be launched in December will not be entering the market this year sadly. The company had decided to launch it during the December holidays but they need a little more time to refine the device. The highest selling point for the Home Pod is its Hi-Fi audio. Sorry to burst that bubble fellas you will now have to wait until next year to get your hands on the smart speaker.
This is the official statement from Apple:
“We can’t wait for people to experience HomePod, Apple’s breakthrough wireless speaker for the home, but we need a little more time before it’s ready for our customers,”
The shipping will start in the early months of 2018 and US, UK, and Australia will be the first countries to receive it. These speakers will cost you about $349 and are capable to compete with different Artificial Intelligence powered speakers, for example, Google Home Max.
