Apple’s iPhone SE was a huge hit in India, and it natural that people would expect an iteration to follow. But according to the fresh report pouring in, we have some very sad news. It seems that the very chief outlet for iPhone SE 2 rumours, case maker Olixar is now convinced that there will not be an iPhone SE 2 this year. If you’ve not been in the news curve, let us bring you up to speed.
Rewind a month back, UK case maker Olixar was prepping its new line of iPhone SE 2 accessories with information from insider sources that a release is imminent, cited Forbes. Before that, there were several case leaks from Olixar as well as other accessories makers and a CAD blueprint from Olixar. However, there was not the slightest hint from Apple concerning the alleged iPhone.
Now, the aforementioned case manufacturer has stopped its plans of producing iPhone SE 2 accessories on the basis of info coming from sources close to it. Time and again, the iPhone SE 2 has been anticipated at one Apple event or other this year, only ending up in disappointment. The recent Forbes report suggested that the handset is coming in June.
Apple is already said to be preparing a trio of iPhones this year. And this includes an LCD iPhone that will be cost-effective for the budget-minded segment. As far as use trends of 2018 go, large screens are the in-thing and when Apple already has a budget-friendly one on the way, there remains no reason for the iPhone SE 2 to exist.
