Today at Steve Jobs Theatre, Apple has introduced three new iPhones. This will mark the second consecutive year when Apple announced three new iPhones at a time. The new phones would be called iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. Looking over the weird nomenclature, Apple had a lot to showcase at the event, despite most of the information being leaked ahead of the launch event today.

Apple iPhone XR Specs, Price and Availability
The regular iPhone is getting a name change and it isn’t pretty. Skipping the iPhone 9, the new regular iPhone would be called iPhone Xr. This will pack a large 6.1-inch liquid retna display with the notch design. The aspect ratio of this display is at 19.5:9 and it offers a 1792 x 828-pixel resolution display. In case you’re wondering about the pixel density, well, it’s over 400 ppi. The display is claimed to be scratch-resistant and will come with oleophobic coating. This will be an LCD panel, unlike other two iPhone models. But it doesn’t miss out on all the fun features including haptic Touch, true-tone and all.
Talking about the internals, the new iPhone XR will be running on Apple’s latest and greatest A12 Bionic 7nm processor. And it will be supported by a four-core GPU. Running on the latest iOS 12 build, it shall offer the latest iOS experience. The internal storage options include 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. Moving to the camera department, it packs a single 12MP lens with f/1.8 aperture size. Plus, it will have a support of PDAF, OIS, and HDR technologies. On the front, it will have a 7MP resolution camera for selfies, and FaceTime calls. There is a dual LED dual-tone flash support as well during low light shots.
So, Apple has removed the iconic physical home screen button and have gone full bezel-less, even for the regular iPhone model this year. The Face ID as you first saw on the iPhone X will be taking over the security department. As far a the connectivity options are concerned, it will be packing support for Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB 2.0 proprietary reversible port. This iPhone will be coming with wireless charging, this year, all iPhones will be supporting this feature. Talking about the battery department, there will be a support of fast battery charging.

Apple iPhone XS Specs, Price and Availability
If you loved the iPhone X, then this is the iPhone of 2018 you should be keeping your eyes for availability. It comes with 5.8-inch OLED Super retina display at 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen resolution is the same as the above model, though, which is at 2436 x 1125 pixels. This will have a support of Dolby Vision and would be HDR10 compliant. It will offer a wider colour gamut compared to regular iPhone Xr.
Talking about the processor, it will have Apple’s latest A12 Bionic 7nm chipset powering the brain of this phone. It will be running the latest iOS 12 builds. The RAM on this one is believed to be at 4GB. While talking about the storage, it will retail in three options; 64GB, 256, and 512GB. The highlight of this phone is its rear camera setup, which is dual in nature.
Both of the sensors sports are of 12MP resolution, but they’re differentiated by aperture size; f/1.8 and f/2.4. And of Course, it will have a support of OIS, PDAF, 2x Optical zoom, and HDR feature. Further, the rear camera is supported by a quad-LED dual-tone flash. The selfie lens is of 7MP resolution with f/2.2 aperture size. Talking about the camera features, Apple has introduced a new ISP, which works with the neural engine to offer best-in-class photos. The company also teased its new Smart HDR feature.
For all the security reasons, it will have a Face ID support. The battery capacity of this iPhone is believed to be at 2716 mAh, which will be aided by fast charging and wireless charging support. The most significant change is the dual-SIM introduction and it calls its dual SIM dual Standby technology, DSDS, it also supports the eSIM.
Apple iPhone XS Max Specs, Price and Availability
The primary difference between iPhone XS Max and iPhone XS is the display size and battery.
