ASUS introduces six new ASUS ROG gaming laptops in India

ASUS has expanded its lineup of premium gaming laptops in India by launching not one, not two, but a total of six gaming laptops. All the laptops come under the ASUS ROG branding and offer the latest hardware. The list includes the ROG Strix G531/G731, ROG Strix Scar III, ROG Zephyrus M GU502, ROG Zephyrus S GX531, ROG Zephyrus GX701, and ROG G703. So, what are we waiting for? Let’s take a look at what all these laptops offer:

ASUS ROG Strix G531/G731 specifications

The Asus ROG Strix G531 and G731 are quite similar in terms of their hardware and the design. The only thing that separates them is the display. the G531 comes with a 15-inch vIPS FHD display with a refresh rate of 120HZ/3ms. On the other hand, the G731 comes with a 17.3-inch vIPS FHD that has a refresh rate of 60HZ. Under the hood, the G531 comes with an Intel Core i5-9300H HM370 chipset while the G731 houses the Intel Core i7-9750H HM370 processor. As for graphics, both the devices come with the Nvidia GeForce GTX1650 GPU. The two laptops come with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and while G531 has up to 1TB of PCIe storage, the G731 has 1TB of HDD storage. 

ASUS ROG Strix Scar III specifications

The ROG Strix Scar III comes with a 15.6-inch IPS FHD display that is available in two variants with refresh rates of 144Hz/3ms and 240Hz/3ms. In terms of hardware, you can choose between the Intel Core i7-9750H HM370 chipset and the Intel Core i9-9880H HM370 processor. As for RAM, you can couple it with up to 32GB of RAM. As for the GPU, you can outfit it with up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 GPU. It has three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type A port, a USB 3.1 Gen Type-C port, an HDMI 2.0 and LAN, and a headphone and microphone combo jack.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus M GU502 specifications

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M GU502 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display and is powered by an Intel 9th generation Core i7-9750H processor. It comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6GB GDDR6 VRAM and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. It also offers two speakers that have smart AMP technology. As for connectivity, you get a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C with DisplayPort, an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type A, an HDMI 2.0 and two USB 3.1 Gen1 Type A ports.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus S GX531 specifications

The highlight of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S GX531 is that it comes with  15.6-inch FHD display that is touted to have a color saturation of 100% sRGB. It comes powered by Intel Core i7-9750H processor and has NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 for graphics. It also comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of PCIe 3.0 storage. As for thermals, it comes with Active Aerodynamic System and Anti-Dust system for intelligent cooling. It comes with a number of ports including a DC-In, two USB 3.1 Gen1 Type C ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an HDMI 2.0.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX701 specifications

As suggested by the name, the ROG Zephyrus GX701 comes with a 17.3-inch FHD IPS LED anti-glare backlit display that has a refresh rate of 144Hz and 3ms of response rate. Under the hood, you get an Intel Core i9-9980HK processor, the laptop comes with an NVIDIA RTX 2080 8GB GDDR6 VRAM for graphics and 32GB of DDR4 memory. For connectivity, it has 3 USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a USB 3.1 Type C/Thunderbolt 3 port, two audio jacks, an HDMI 2.0 and more.

Pricing and availability

The Asus ROG Strix III is available at a starting price of Rs 80,000. The Asus ROG Strix III Scar is available at a starting price of Rs 1,65,000 and the company’s Zephyrs GUS502 can be picked up at Rs 1,50,000. The Zephyrus GX701 and GX531 cost Rs 3,00,000 and Rs 2,50,000 respectively. Lastly, the ROG G703 is the most expensive of the lot and can be purchased at Rs 4,00,000.
