Asus launched versions of Zenfone 4 Selfie in India. Pricing, Specs and Availability

Asus has just launched three new smartphones under its Zenfone 4 series in India. They have announced the series by introducing six smartphones at an event held in Taiwan, back in August. Sadly, only two of them made their way to India – Zenfone 4 Selfie (ZD553KL) and Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro. The third one – Zenfone 4 Selfie (ZB553KL) is an India exclusive device.  Let’s take a quick look at the specifications and pricing.

Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro

Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro is the high-end variant among the three newly launched devices. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display covered with 2.5D Gorilla Glass, a metallic unibody build, and runs on a Snapdragon 625 Octa-core CPU, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage space, and expandable storage up to 2 TB with a hybrid microSD card slot. There is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the front. The front dual camera setup includes a 24-megapixel DuoPixel lens of aperture f/1.8, a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens of aperture f/2.2 and a soft-light LED flash. It is capable of taking 120° wide-angle selfies as well as portrait selfies along with 4K video recording capabilities. The rear camera is a 16 MP IMX351 sensor with PDAF, EIS, and an LED flash. It supports pro mode, portrait mode, RAW file capture, and support for 4K video recording. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. Zenfone 4 selfie (ZD553KL) comes with a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display covered with 2.5D Glass, Metallic finish, Snapdragon 430 Octa-core CPU, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB Internal storage, expandable up to 2 TB with a dedicated microSD card slot. There is a fingerprint scanner at the front. The front dual camera setup consists of a 20 MP f/2.0 primary camera along with an 8 MP camera with f/2.0 120 degrees wide angle lens. It has all software enhancements much like the Zenfone Selfie Pro. The rear camera is a 16 MP camera with PDAF, EIS and an LED flash. It supports pro mode, portrait mode, and 1080p video recording. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with ZenUI 4.0 on top. Check out the full specs here.

Zenfone 4 selfie (ZB553KL) is a product exclusively designed for India. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display covered with 2.5D glass, Metallic finish, Snapdragon 430 Octa-core CPU, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB Internal storage, expandable up to 2 TB with a dedicated microSD card slot. There is a fingerprint scanner at the front. The front camera here is a 13MP f/2.0 sensor with a soft-light LED flash. This camera is capable of taking 140° panorama selfie. The rear camera is a 13 MP sensor with PDAF, EIS and an LED flash. It supports pro mode, portrait mode, and 1080p video recording. It has a 3,000 mAh battery and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with ZenUI 4.0 on top.

It will be available in Sunlight Gold, Rose Pink, and Deepsea Black color variants at a price of INR 9,999.

All three smartphones will go on sale on September 21, via Flipkart. Launch offers include up to 100GB of additional data from Reliance Jio. During the Big Billion Days sale, the ZenFone 4 Selfie (ZD553KL) will go on sale at INR 13,999.
