Asus ROG Phone 2 said to arrive on July 23

Asus is all set to introduce the successor to its first gaming phone dubbed as ROG phone in China. The new Asus ROG Phone 2 is all set to come on July 23 as per the invite unveiled on a Weibo post. While we already knew that the launch date would be July 23 according to a previously leaked report. But this officially confirms the launch date of the phone.

Asus ROG Phone 2 – What should you expect?

The new ROG Phone 2 is said to boost 120Hz refresh rate enabled display. The predecessor came with a 90Hz refresh rate display. So, expect better refresh rate experience on the upcoming phone is what Asus wants to you to users. 

Unfortunately, the details of this phone are scarce. We only know that it is said to come with a 30W fast charging support, thanks to a 3C certification. But that’s hardly a big surprise since the original ROG phone came with a 30W fast charging. More Information about the upcoming ROG phone might surface soon as the launch date closes in. 

Asus ROG Phone 2 - Invite

Recalling the specifications of the ROG phone, the handset offers. 6-inch AMOLED display with corning gorilla glass 6 support. It’s an always-on display. Talking about the internals, it came with Snapdragon 845 processor and is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB storage. 

The camera department is 12MP rear camera accompanied by an 8MP sensor, which is ultra-wide in nature. The front camera is powered by an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The handset came with 4000mAh capacity battery.
