Asus launched the ZenFone Max (M1) and ZenFone Max Pro (M1) in May 2018. The phones were primarily known for their good battery lives and dual rear camera setup. Now, the company is planning to release the successors of its two earlier models in 2019. The Asus ZenFone Max (M2) and ZenFone Max Pro (M2) have been spotted on a Russian certification agency.
Asus ZenFone Max (M1) and ZenFone Max Pro (M1): specifications
Asus ZenFone Max (M1) comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Since the phone doesn’t rock a notch, the bezels on the display panel are outrageous if we judge by today’s standards. The power-house under the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC. It comes with a 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of ROM. The optics department of the device is again interesting as it has a dual setup on the back with 13MP + 8MP sensors. The selfie enthusiasts have an 8MP sensor at their disposal as well. The Asus ZenFone Max also comes with a humongous 4000mAh battery.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has a slightly longer 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Again, you’d get a lot of bezels on all sides, thanks to the notch-less design. The power department of the phone is handled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor with a 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of ROM. The battery capacity on the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) is also 4000mAh. The rear cameras have a setup of 13MP + 5MP sensors while the selfie snapper has a generous 8MP sensor.
