AT&T and Verizon pulled out of Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Porsche edition launch

Huawei is known for innovation and is faring comparatively well in the global smartphone market. However, the company is still struggling in terms of making its presence felt in the US.

In the end of 2017, it was confirmed that AT&T and Verizon will bring the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Porsche edition in the States. The surprising fact is that the devices have been launched in the CES 2018 but the two leading network carriers have not carried out the alliance.

The Wall Street Journal claims that the deal has been canceled. The main reason behind AT&T opting out of the deal is the political pressure. It is a well-known fact that the US and Chinese government do not see eye to eye and this has affected the network carrier’s decision. Some reports even claimed that the phones by Huawei were actually a means of spying on the American population. The company refused the claims vigorously afterward.

Huawei P20 leaks and turns out to be a good looking device.

Since AT&T has opted out of the deal, Verizon seems to be under the same pressure. However, if you wish to buy any of the two devices, they are available at Best Buy, Amazon, B&H Photo, Newegg or Microsoft. The prices will prove to be heavy on your pockets.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is available for a price of $799 while the Porsche edition will cost you $1,225. The phones will go on sale from February 18.
