1. Asphalt 8: Airborne

This game has been my personal favourite ever since it launched. I was first exposed to the Asphalt line up when I got my Lenovo P780 smartphone. It had Asphalt 7 built into it which was a paid game. Later on, Gameloft decided to make Asphalt 8 free, which was a great choice. If you enjoy incredible graphics, outstanding sound effects and sheer nitro rage, you will love Asphalt 8. In case you haven’t tried out yet, I highly recommend you take it for a spin.

2. Real Racing 3

EA Sports is a popular name in the world of gaming. I haven’t had the pleasure of trying out any previous versions before this, but Real Racing 3 is a “real treat”. If Asphalt 8 is a little too much for you with its heavy updates and ads, the Real Racing 3 will be a saviour in disguise for you. The game doesn’t defy gravity like the one mentioned above and will give you a realistic feel as intended. But that doesn’t mean that the game is another boring sentence which will shatter your expectations. You will definitely need a good quality hardware on your smartphone to run this game, which is present on pretty much every phone nowadays.

Also, who can ignore the fact that it is majorly ad-free?

3. CSR Racing

The social and the earliest game that I tried to download on my old ARMv6 processor based smartphone and failed. This game is pretty visually stunning and involves you to shift gears at the right moment to win against opponents. It is not as intuitive and hey, more reliant on physics as compared to any of the other options in this list.

The game contains ads and in-app purchases and is pretty heavy. However, if you look at its visuals and the amount of excitement it provides, the pros definitely take over the cons.

4. Raging Thunder 2

I remember playing the original version of this game and loving it very much. The graphics are very lightweight, but the Physics work pretty well to play. It reminded me a lot of open world games such as GTA. If you’re looking for an insanely fun game but don’t want to bother with high-end graphics, Raging Thunder will do you just fine. Remember, intense graphics don’t always guarantee a fun gaming experience.

The racing game is pretty light on your device when compared to the others and that’s probably its biggest USP.

5. Traffic Racer

This is a pretty good 3D graphics game where you raise the traffic. You get traditional points for switching lines and passing cars by a hairline. You can choose from a wide variety of racing cars and well, unlock the others with your achievements. This is one of those endless Arcade racing games out there. In case you’re looking for something like that, Traffic Racer is possibly the right game for you.

The game contains in-app purchases and ads, as can be expected.

6. Asphalt Xtreme

This game is obviously an additional entry to the famous Asphalt Merchandise by Gameloft. The only difference is that this game focuses mainly on off-road racing. It has a whole lot of career events and beautiful design levels with unique challenges. This game is more advanced than Asphalt 8 Airborne. You can also customize your car and get your Death Race theme.

So, it’s a racing game with cool graphics, unusual locations and customised cars. Cool, yes?
