Nokia 7 Plus, the successor to the Nokia 7, has been launched on the sidelines of MWC 2018. The latter was launched in China only and never released globally. The Nokia 7 Plus made a few rounds on the internet before this launch and many of its specs were confirmed in those. The phone looks quite different from its predecessor and comes with some respectable upgrades.
Nokia 7 Plus – specs and features
The Nokia 7 Plus comes with a 6.0-inch FHD+ display. The phone comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio display and is nearly bezel-less. Nokia has done well on the design side since the phone looks pretty attractive in images. The phone is made out of a Solid block of aluminium (6-layer paint system for a seamless ceramic look) with an Android One branding on the bottom. Yes, the Nokia 7 Plus is an Android One device which will speedily receive all the latest Android updates for the next two years.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, against the Snapdragon 630 on its predecessor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone carries Carl Zeiss dual rear cameras with a main+telephoto lens and one front camera with adaptive sensor technology. The phone carries Pro camera and the device has a capability to add masks to bothie, thanks to the AI. The rear cameras are placed vertically alongside an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor is placed beneath them.
The power button and volume rockers can be spotted on the right and the phone carries a two-day battery life.
