BlackBerry KEY2 might be coming to China on June 8 as company schedules a launch event

BlackBerry KEY2 - Feature

How is BlackBerry not get tired of its failure in the Android smartphone industry? Well, someone should ask them this at the recently scheduled event in China where the company is all set to release its latest flagship smartphone, the BlackBerry KEY2. The event taking place in Beijing on June 8 aligns with company’s event in New York City happening a day before.

After releasing its Keyone last year around the same time, the company might be ready to introduce its iteration. The BlackBerry KEYone can’t be called a successor to KEY2 because it was a success going by the sales figures. But it indeed has kept BB users hope alive. However, the niche that community might be, it will get addressed as long as the company wants it to be alive.

BlackBerry KEY2 Specifications

There is not much confirmed about BlackBerry KEY2 specifications. But if you go by the leaked press renders, then, there is a lot of speculated specifications to be shared. Starting with the design, keeping its physical keyboard alive, it might end up introducing a dual-rear camera setup.

Coping up with demands, the dual-rear camera is adopted by almost all incumbent players. And the time has come for BlackBerry to acknowledge this feature. Other than the camera upgrade and the latest Android 8.0 Oreo, there is not much interesting happening here.

BlackBerry KEY2

Expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor powering the upcoming BlackBerry KEY2. Probably paired with a maximum 6GB of RAM and a 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity might be lower than KEYone at 3360mAh capacity battery. While we are quite sure that it will be a costly affair to own this device, we aren’t sure whether it would be coming to India or not.

Because at this point – How many loyal BlackBerry smartphone users reside in India? Not many we guess. Guys, let us know in the comments section if you’re using a BlackBerry in India.
