Energizer, mainly known for its batteries and rugged phones has added one more device to its rugged portfolio. The new handset aptly called Hardcase H590S presses its case hard as a rugged phone. It is the latest addition in the Hardcase series of devices and succeeds the H550S. Its main highlight is the strong metal casing and a massive 5,800mAh battery.
The Hardcase H590S being a rugged device is meant to withstand shock and water. Hence, it has an IP68 rating that can let you go for a swim up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It can survive a fall of 1.2 metres as well. The body is additionally dust and dirt resistant as well to make it a real endurance beast.
As for its main functions, the phone has a big 5.9-inch display with thin bezels covered by Gorilla Glass 3. The handset uses a MediaTek MT6737 octa-core CPU that ticks at 2.0 GHz and ample 6GB of RAM. It’s not the ideal processor but the RAM should help a bit in multi-tasking. Further, you also get a lot of internal storage as Energizer packs the device with 128GB that can be expanded by 128GB Micro-SD cards.
The Hardcase H950S has a dual camera setup on both the sides. For the front, it has a 16MP + 0.3MP sensors. The back has a combination of 13MP + 0.3MP sensors.
Moreover, the 5,800mAh battery features Intelligent Power Saving system which saves battery and ensures optimal use times. Also, the handset is equipped with USB Type-C and a fast charger.
