Xiaomi is the market leader in smartphones in India. Thanks to its flash sales strategy, it has been the number one smartphone player for four consecutive quarters. However, capturing the offline market still remains a goal for the Chinese giant. The company had previously announced that they have plans to open 100 Mi Home stores in India by the end of this year. Working towards the same, the company has launched their biggest Mi Home in India today, giving consumers access to a lot of global products.
Largest Mi Home in India
The new Mi Home is located in Indira Nagar, Bangalore, and spans across 6000 sq. ft., covering two floors. It houses the largest experience zone, showcasing a collection of over 200 experience products that are sold globally. These products include the Mi Robot vacuum, Mi Smart Washing Machine, Mi Smart Projector 150, and much more. The products range from smart home, smart travel to fitness and personal wellness sections, offering better and smarter living solutions.
More than just products
Apart from displaying all the global products, there’s more to the new Mi Home. The store also offers unique spaces such as the engagement zone and its very own Mi Home cafe. Here, customers and Mi Fans can host regular meetups or spend quality time on their personal work and reflection.
Xiaomi claims that the store building showcases unique, edgy patterns, and constructed using eco-friendly materials. There are also special solar-powered charging stations located on the rear side of the store.
“This is a truly special moment for us as the new Mi Home takes our new retail concept a step above, offering enhanced retail experience to our Mi Fans and consumers in India. The building represents a unique space that encourages people to think, learn, and engage, hence reflecting our drive for innovation. The futuristic concept embodies our efforts to connect the present consumer experience with the future. We hope that our Mi Fans and customers in Bengaluru visit this iconic store to enjoy the new retail experience, and make the most of our innovative product line-up,” said Manu Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India.
With the launch of the new Mi Home, Xiaomi etches itself one step closer to capturing the offline market as well. It also introduces consumers to products from the company that haven’t launched in India yet.
