By now we have plenty of unofficial evidence that the Galaxy A6 duo is not just a rumour. The Galaxy A6+ and Galaxy A6 have appeared on Geekbench and also on some certification websites lately. However, we now have an official hint that the phones are very real and close to release.
Two days back, the Galaxy A6+ appeared briefly listed on Samsung’s Polish website with model number SM-A650FN/DS. This appears to be a dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy A6+. It is worth noting that the listing didn’t display any specifications whatsoever. Nonetheless, the appearance of the model number was an indication that the handset is definitely on the cards.
As per current info, the Galaxy A6+ will be fitted with the famous Snapdragon 625 SoC teamed up with an Adreno 506 GPU. The handset will have Android 8.0 Oreo on boot helped by 4GB of RAM. Its smaller sibling is known to be powered by the octa-core Exynos 7870 chip paired with 3GB of RAM.
What is surprising is that both phone’s physical looks have been under wraps even up till now. We’re interested to see where Samsung will place these two phones in terms of size. The new Galaxy A8 already come in at 6.0-inches, so it is quite possible that the A6 duo could end up on either side of the scale. There’s no official info about the release dates of the two new A series duo as of yet.
