
After popping up prematurely on pre-orders, the Galaxy A9 Star/A9 Star Lite has now finally gone official today with a different price tag. We know pretty much everything regarding the two handsets beforehand due to the pre-order listing. However, take a look at the price below.

The Galaxy A9 Star will cost Chinese buyers 2,999 Yuan ($465) while the A9 Star Lite will cost 1,999 Yuan ($310). The A9 Star has Black and White color shades while the other one has Black and Blue. Pre-orders are still on and sales will start on June 15 on Samsung’s China e-store.
Quickly running you through the specs, we’ve said this earlier that the A9 Star Lite is just a renamed Galaxy A6+. It also looks the same. It has a 6.0-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 450 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, it has 16 + 5MP rear-facing cameras, a powerful 24MP front shooter, and a 3500mAh cell.

The A9 Star is a powerful mid-range handset. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, same RAM and storage as the A6+, and a slightly bigger 3700mAh battery. It has twin 16MP shooters at the back and a 24MP shooter on the front. It’s also got a slightly bigger 6.28-inch display with Full-HD+ resolution.
