Samsung Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ are launching soon. The devices are the successors to the Samsung Galaxy J4 (2018) and Galaxy J6 (2018), respectively. Both the models have been certified by Bluetooth SIG and according to speculations, can arrive soon. However, we do not know if they’ll be launched in India first. The model number of the Samsung Galaxy J4+ is SM-J415 while the Galaxy J6+ has been spotted by the name SM-J610.
The Galaxy J6+ will be available in Dual SIM and single SIM options, according to the certification. The phone was earlier speculated to carry the name tag of the Galaxy J6 Prime. The Galaxy J4+ was also rumoured to be called the Galaxy J4 Prime. However, this didn’t happen. Interestingly, both of these devices will run Android 8.1 Oreo at the time of their launch and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors.
These devices have been speculated to arrive first in Vietnam and Netherlands and after that, they’ll be launched globally. DJ Koh was recently spotted saying that Samsung will make considerable changes to its mid-range and budget-friendly phones. The addition of Snapdragon processors on the Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ seems to be a part of this change. Companies like Xiaomi and Oppo are already ruling the market with their budget offerings and it’ll actually be great to see some good budget-friendly devices from Samsung.
In other news, an A-series smartphone has been spotted on Samsung’s Spanish website. While it has been speculated that the phone will arrive as a successor to the Galaxy A8+ (2018), we can’t say much because only the Dual SIM ability of the phone has been confirmed as of now.
