Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2016), model number SM-G570, was released in September last year with a 5″ display and satisfactory camera performance. The next in line, Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) has been spotted on the GFXBench listing as model number SM-G571. We are calling it by that name because Samsung is unlikely to launch the device with a new one when the only difference between the SM-G571 and SM-G570 is the display size!
Coming back to the benchmark leak, all the major specification of the J5 Prime (2017) have been disclosed. The phone will be powered by an Exynos 7570 chipset with a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor. The RAM of the device is listed to be 3 GB and the ROM is expected to be 32 GB.
The alleged Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) will have a smaller display at 4.8″ with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The smaller size of the display is the only difference between this phone and its predecessor, as mentioned earlier!
The J5 Prime (2017) will feature the main shooter with 13 MP camera sensor and the selfie snapper will have an 8 MP camera sensor. Both the cameras will support full HD video shooting.
As far as the release date of the leaked J5 Prime (2017) is concerned, nothing has been declared yet. Ideally, the phone should have arrived the market in September, since the J5 Prime (2016) was launched in that month last year. However, we are hoping to see it sometime in December this year.
