Samsung has announced the arrival of the Galaxy S9/S9+. The phones will be launched on February 25, at the MWC 2018. A Twitter tipster has now revealed that the upcoming Galaxy S9 line-up will be the most expensive so far.
The tipster has a track record of being factually correct. However, it would be difficult for the company to launch the phones at a higher price. The phones have been leaked numerous times and there are no major changes on the Galaxy S9/S9+.
The smaller of the two will sport a single camera on both the sides. The rear camera on the phone is expected to have a 12MP sensor with image stabilization and variable aperture (f/1.5 – f/2.4). Both the phones will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 8895 processor. Apart from this, no major changes have been made to the phones.
The phones have been leaked in a hands-on video as well. Want to see the phones? Click here.
It is worth mentioning that the Galaxy S8 was launched at a price of $700 while the Galaxy S8+ came in at $800. The 256GB variant of the latter came in at $1000. Amidst these prices, it is highly unlikely for the company to launch the phones at a higher price.
However, nothing is certain as of now. We will keep you updated with everything related to the Galaxy S9 and S9+.
