You can now make calls from your desktop browser using Google Duo

Google Duo is one of the best video calling applications out there. The software is already integrated in most of the dialer applications on smartphones too. However, one feature that many users have been crying for is the availability of calling via their web browser. It also helps the user get notified of incoming calls. And well, it is finally here! Yes, that’s right. Google has finally made Google Duo available for web browsers.

The new feature is rolling out on the server side. To get it, simply head over to duo.google.com in Chrome, FireFox, or Safari while logged into your Google account. Once you do that, you should see the new interface right away. If by chance you don’t, you will have to wait out till the server side change is pushed. As for me, I was lucky enough to get the updated design. In fact, I even made a call to Ashish on his Pixel 3 XL.

And that’s it. The update is simple, but should definitely come in handy for a lot of people. Whether business or personal use, the ability to make calls from the comfort of your web browser is certainly great. I, for one, find this to be pretty darn good. But what about you?
