Expanding its Google Home lineup here in India, the company has finally launched the Google Nest Hub here. Originally called the Google Home Hub, the Nest Hub is a smart home device which comes with a touchscreen display.
Google Nest Hub features
The Google Nest Hub features a 7-inch touchscreen panel. Additionally, it also comes with two far-field microphones, a full-range speaker, and an Ambient EQ light sensor. In terms of connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth v5.0. Just like a Google Home speaker, you can use the Nest Hub to let the device set an alarm, turn off the connected lights and TV, and play music. All this can be triggered with the help of the “Hey Google” command.
Apart from that, you also get the touchscreen, which you can use to watch YouTube videos, see cooking recipes, or do a slideshow of your Google Photos. Owing to its smart nature, you can also use the device to control over 200 million devices from more than 3,500 brands, including LG, Oakter, Philips Hue, Syska, TP-Link, Xiaomi, and Yeelight among others. Also, the Google Nest Hub comes with the Google Assistant integration to let you control all the compatible connected devices in your home directly using your voice.
Google Nest Hub price in India
The Google Nest Hub has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 9,999. As a launch offer, Google has bundled Xiaomi’s Mi Security Camera worth Rs. 1,799 with the Nest Hub. This offer can be availed only via Flipkart or Tata Cliq. Other than that, the Nest Hub will also retail across Croma, and Reliance Digital, and will be available in Chalk and Charcoal color options.
