The new Google Pixel phones are coming to India on October 22 as per MySmartPrice’s reports. The new handsets which are going to be unveiled later tonight (IST) in New York City, will be officially coming to India in less than two weeks. The third generation Google Pixel phones have everybody excited after Google released a viral video showcasing the YouTubers talking about the ugly notch. Update (26/09/18): Google Pixel 3 to offer real-time lens feature in the camera app

Coming October 9, Google is all set to introduce its third-generation Pixel phones. While we have learned already a lot about these upcoming phones even before its official introduction there happens to be some more learning. The new Pixel 3 is slated to introduce the AI-enabled Google Lens as a real-time feature.

According to a recent tweet shared by young leakster Ishan Agarwal, the new Pixel phones will add one more interesting thing to its features suite. This suite includes Now Playing, Active Edge, Google Assistant, and now the real-time Google Lens application. This feature would be built right inside the camera app.

While it is already clubbed inside the Google’s stock camera app, the highlight is that this feature will be accessible in real-time. As soon as you open the camera you can point and learn about the objects in front of you. To showcase a use case scenario, a gif has been shared. In this media, we can see the person putting a business card. Once the user taps on the email, the phone is taking a user to the Gmail app. And that is just one use case scenario.

It is believed that the improved NPU and Hexagon 685 DSP on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC will help Google achieve this feat. It is unknown whether Google would be able to work this feature on older Pixel phones or not.

Last time we hear about the Pixel 3 XL leak, it was about the retail box. Now we have finally got the first clear look at the overall design of the phone.

Initially, it was believed that Google may end up changing the notch design after prototype images leak. But if the photos that we see is of the final product, then, Pixel enthusiasts may turn out to hate the design of the new Pixel phones this ear. Primarily the XL variant looks hideous with that unnecessary huge display notch.

This Russian leak suggests that Google is sticking with the same design language as seen on its predecessor. As most of the rear design is similar to last year’s model. The only difference in terms of design is of the ugly notch. What do you guys think of the purported Google Pixel 3 XL images? Let us know in the comments section below.

Just when we thought that rumours regarding the third generation of Pixel phones have stopped for the past month, a new leaked as surfaced up online. This leak arrived on XDA forum, posted by the member that goes by “Dr.guru”. As suspicious as it may sound, this is the only rumour regarding the Google Pixel 3 XL phone in a long time.

Talking about the leak, the live image showcases the alleged white Pixel 3 XL. The source quotes that this is a prototype, which has been wiped remotely by Google. From the screen, it is noted that there’s no valid slot to boot. It is also learned from the screen showcased in the picture that the phone’s nickname is crosshatch.

Further details showcased on this phone’s screen include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. As far as the hardware is concerned, almost everything checks out. The logo that you see on the phone is often used on Google products in the prototype stage.

Judging by the looks of the notch, it looks quite ugly when compared to the other flagship phones in the market. It looks huge! Since the device is still in prototype stage, expect changes in the design for the final product.

Update (8/06/18): Google Pixel 3 XL live images leaked online, almost confirms notch and single rear camera

A while back we learn that Google is opting for a notch design on its Pixel 3 XL smartphone coming later this year. Now it’s almost confirmed that a Pixel phone would certainly introduce a cut out on the top edge. The live images of Pixel XL 3 acquired by XDA showcases a lot than we expected.

Google Pixel XL 3 - Front

Apart from the notch, we may only see a single camera sensor on the back as shown in the images. Further, the inclusion of fingerprint sensor on rear indirectly states that Google won’t be introducing the in-display fingerprint sensor on its next Pixel phone.

Google Pixel XL 3 - Rear

This may be a disappointing news, but you should keep in mind that Google camera software is still best-in-class. And you don’t necessarily require a dual-rear camera. But of course, a fingerprint sensor on display would have been a great addition. Note that these are pre-production models, so we suggest you take above information with a pinch of salt.

Update (4/06/18): Google Pixel powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor might be coming sooner than you think

It has been rumored for quite a long, but we may finally have first specification leak for the mid-range Pixel smartphone. While Google Pixel 3 and Pixel XL 3 would be sporting a Snapdragon 845 processor, its mid-range sibling will reportedly sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor.

Why Snapdragon 710?

To jog up your memory, Snapdragon 710 is Qualcomm’s latest mid-range processor which is the first in SD700 series. Xiaomi did a debut of this processor on its recently announced handset, the Mi 8 SE. Looking at the Google’s track record, the company is less likely to introduce this handset in 2018. Whereas a 2019 launch will make this processor an old news.

Which is why we are expecting Google to take action on this one by the end of the year. Whether the Mountain View giant would release it alongside Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones is not up for debate. But if you want to go there, you have to go alone, because Google may not board that train.

Apart from the processor details, there is no other information regarding a purported mid-range Google Pixel phone leaked online. At this point, it is a highly volatile rumor, which can’t be confirmed, until a concrete leak comes out. That’s why we suggest you take above information with a pinch of salt.

What do you think guys? Will there be a mid-range Pixel phone coming? And if it comes would you buy one or not. Let us know in the comments section below.

According to the report emerged on Bloomberg, the new Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL have found a new hardware partner. It is learned that Google is in talks with Hon Hai Precision Industry Corporation, otherwise known as Foxconn to produce its new set of Pixel phones.

The previous leak suggested that upcoming XL 3 will sport a notch, or a cut out at the top. Now with this new information coming up points to Google hiring the same company that manufactures and assemble the iPhones. So, it is more likely that new Pixel phones and new iPhones this year would be assembled by the same company.

Update (29/05/18): Here’s the first legit leak of Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3XL design

Earlier, May 29, 2018, 11:21: Many rumors suggested that the Google Pixel 3 will sport a notch, and now there are images to corroborate this belief. Why are we not surprised? Because Google had actually announced that Android P will support the notch. The current stable version (Android 8.1 Oreo) doesn’t offer it.

A known leaker on Twitter, Benjamin Geskin, who has a track record of some solid leaks has shared what appears to be the renders of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL – based on the supply line leak of the front panel. This could be the first legit look at how the new Google Pixel 3 will eventually look like. While the Pixel 3 doesn’t sport a notch, the bigger sibling, Pixel 3XL might come with a notch.

It was inevitable for Google to jump on the bandwagon of iPhone X look-alike phones. Comparing the notch with other Android smartphones like the OnePlus 6 and Vivo X21, the 3XL will sport a wider notch. Maybe Google is planning to introduce an infrared-based Face Unlock feature as seen on iPhone X.

Are you ready to embrace Face Unlock on a Google Pixel 3 XL?

Since there are no renders of the rear side. We could speculate that Google might get rid away of the fingerprint sensor.

The leaked renders also suggest that we may finally see a dual-front camera setup on a Pixel phone. That will be a game-changing aspect of this phone since Google has not yet embraced a dual-sensor setup on the rear. Of course, we also expect the third edition of the Pixel to come up with a dual camera setup on the rear as well.

We suggest you take above information with a pinch of salt. Stick around on our website and we will keep you updated with the latest leaks on Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL.
