
A new image of the Moto Z3 Play said to be an official render has just leaked today. The HD image confirms a number of things concerning the Moto Z3 Play that have been grabbing the is exclusive details regarding the Moto G series this year.

Right off the bat, the Moto Z3 Play is seen rocking a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Again, this is the second time we’re seeing this from a credible source. If this pans out as they say, then this would be the first Moto smartphone to feature biometrics on the side. Also, with the launch of the new Moto G6 series, we’ve now got an idea of what Motorola has cooked up for this year. This render portrays exactly that. However, since the Moto Z3 Play is a premium offering, it has a glass plated back with Pogo pins for the Moto Mods.

The Moto Z3 Play has already been played with at the FCC and we do have some schematics. The handset will feature a Snapdragon 636, 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of onboard storage. Also, there will definitely be a dual camera setup on the back. Presently, a 12MP + 8MP combo is being tipped for the modular phone. Like its G series siblings, it should run Android Oreo out of the box. However, the battery is tipped to be of 3,000mAh capacity. The publication also believes there will be no 3.5mm headphone jack on the Moto Z3 Play.
