After a high-profile flagship Huawei P20 launch, Huawei has now turned attention towards refreshing the Honor series. We’re talking about the Honor 10 of course. It’s easy to get confused here as the Honor brand is chock full of launches every year. However, the Honor 10 will be one of the best offerings this year.
Today, Honor issued press invites explicitly stating the launch date of the Honor 10 for April 19. Earlier this week, the Honor 10 was believed to be heading for a launch on May 15 in London. This was presumed due to a teaser that didn’t mention the device itself.
One thing that stands out in the press invite is the multi-coloured rear reminiscent of the unique Twilight shade in the Huawei P20. This colour was teased earlier too but this seals the deal. Expect the upcoming phone to be a powerful device with HiSilicon Kirin’s best silicone this year. According to speculation, a 4GB + 64GB variant is supposed to be in the offing as well as a 6GB + 128GB variant. In addition, the invite suggests a dual camera setup with the obligatory AI quirks will also be present in the handset.
If previous live images are anything to go by, the Honor 10 will be the first Honor phone to feature a notch. As for other details, we might see something interesting in the next few days in the run-up to the launch.
