The latest Honor phone, Honor 10, is expected to launch soon in India. We know for a fact that the Honor 10 will be exclusive to Flipkart. Now, Honor has also confirmed the date of sale on Flipkart. You will be able to buy the phone from May 16 on midnight when the official sale starts. 

After being unveiled in China, the global launch of the phone is happening on the 15th of May and soon after the phone will also be available in India. There is no word on the price yet, and we should have more details close to the launch.

Specs and other details

The Honor 10 comes with a 5.84-inch 19:9 aspect ratio IPS LCD panel. You get a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels on the display. There is a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass for protection, but the version is unknown. As for the software, you get EMUI 8.1 which is a skin on top of Android 8.1.

Internally, the phone depends on Huawei’s homegrown Hisilicon Kirin 970 SoC, which is known for its AI capabilities. The phone comes in three variants globally: 4GB of RAM/64GB of internal storage, 6GB of RAM/64GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM/128GB of internal storage. We have no confirmation yet if all the three variants will be launched in India. 

There are dual cameras on the rear. The primary sensor is a 16MP unit and the secondary one is a 24MP black and white sensor. On the front you get a 24MP selfie camera. Furthermore, the battery is a large 3,400mAh unit.
