Honor has a flagship smartphone series scheduled to go live on May 21 in London. The Huawei sub-brand is teasing its new flagship upgrade for quite a time now. As the launch date closes in, we will start seeing the leaks about this phone. And today marks one of those days. A leak has appeared on SlashLeaks with the details of the camera on the upcoming Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro. Let’s take a look at the details below.
Honor 20 Pro Camera Specifications
We already knew one thing about the rear camera setup on the Honor 20 Pro. It’s going to introduce a quadruple rear camera setup. Yes. Following the suite of its parent company, after the P20 Pro launch, the sub-brand is taking a step forward with four rear camera setup.
The primary lens is believed to pack a 48MP f/1.4 aperture lens, which could be IMX 586 according to the leak. Talking about the second lens, it could be a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens with 117-degree FOV and f/2.2 aperture. The third lens is believed to be an 8MP telephoto lens with 3X Zoom technology, OIS, and f/2.2 aperture support.
The fourth sensor would be a 2MP 3D TOF (Time of Flight) sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 1.75 micron pixel size. These cameras would be accompanied by a laser AF and are expected to be backed by a ton of AI features. Note that the telephoto and primary lens is reportedly coming with 4-axis OIS.
Honor 20 Camera Specifications
Coming to the Honor 20 camera details, it is believed to be packing a quadruple camera as well. Where the primary lens is of 48MP, again IMX 586, but an f/1.8 aperture lens. A 16MP wide-angle lens is common on both Honor phones. But the telephoto lens will be replaced by lower 2MP resolution lens for depth sensing. Instead of a TOF camera, the fourth lens is a 2MP resolution macro lens with f/2.4 aperture size.
