What are the major changes on Honor 7X Android Oreo Update?

  • Starting with an intelligent split-screen interface, the utilization of that big 5.99-inch 1080p display is made much more brilliant. While the Nougat OS-based UI introduced a split screen mode, it wasn’t as intuitive.
  • With the introduction of the Ride mode, the Honor 7X will ensure that you keep your attention on the road. This feature, which is accessible from notification panel and settings, will keep you more focused on riding when it’s turned ON. Notifications are turned off by default in this mode. And, it will also keep inform people trying to connect with you that you’re riding.
  • Game Suite is a mode that lets gamers concentrate on their sessions, and not get distracted by notifications. When turned ON, this mode will also optimize the system performance for a better gaming experience.
  • Honor has made sure that using PayTM on their 7X is easier. It is more convenient to use now with a deep integration of fingerprint sensor. You can actually assign a unique fingerprint for PayTM. It will redirect users directly to the payment page.

Apart from the above major changes, there are the couple of minor changes that are also bound to enhance your software experience on the Honor 7X. It includes a one-step shortcut to launch applications, which makes it easier for you to launch apps.

The dynamic wallpaper allows users to keep their screen content fresh. Plus, the smart resolution feature will make sure you’ll get a good visual experience. New feature like a one-handed navigation dock, simplified settings, accessibility to deleted documents, and general phone management are also neat additions.
