Honor has announced its latest smartphone in India, its called Honor 8C. This new phone is priced at Rs 11,999 for 32GB and Rs 12,999 for 64GB model. It would be competing in the sub Rs 15,000 price segment with the phones from Xiaomi and Realme. It will be Amazon exclusive smartphone and HiHonor store, and it would be available starting December 10. Let’s talk about the Honor 8C specifications and its features below.

Honor 8C specs

Sporting a 6.26-inch display of 1520 x 720-pixel resolution it comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio. This is an LCD panel and offers an 81.9% screen-to-body ratio. There is no mention of the glass protection type. It will be running on the EMUI 8.2 based on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the device.

This will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 processor, which will make it the first phone in India to come with this Qualcomm chipset. Accompanied by a 4GB of RAM, it is offered in two storage variants, 32GB and 64GB. For users concerned with storage, it offers an expansion slot via microSD card.

Moving to the camera department, it has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary shooter accompanied by a 2MP resolution depth sensor for bokeh effect. On the front, it has an 8MP resolution selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the connectivity front, it has all the standard features available including 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB port, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11. All this is powered by a massive 4000mAh capacity battery for a longer battery life.
