Huawei confirmed its plans of launching a phone with dual rear and front cameras recently. The Chinese company has finally launched the lite version of Honor 9. The Honor 9 Lite has been unveiled in New Delhi today.
The phone was launched in China in December. The Honor 9 Lite features a 5.65-inches display with a Full-HD resolution of 2160 x 1080p and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor accompanied by Mali T830-MP2 GPU, under the hood. The company also claims that the Honor 9 Lite is the most beautiful phone by Honor so far.
It has a dual rear camera setup with 13MP+2MP cameras along with an LED flash. The front contains a 13MP sensor in combination with a 2MP one. The device is equipped with a fingerprint scanner as well and the phone runs on the latest EMUI 8 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It has Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE, and a dual-SIM slot as connectivity options and is packed with a 3,000mAh battery.
The smartphone is available in three variants in – 3GB of RAM+32GB ROM, 4GB of RAM+64GB ROM.
The Honor 9 Lite comes in three colours – Midnight Black, Glacier Grey and, Sapphire Blue. The phone can be at a price of Rs 11,999 for the first variant and Rs 14,999 for the second variant. There is a special launch price of Rs 10,999 for Citi Bank users on the first variant.
The device is here to compete directly with the likes of Xiaomi Note 4 and Mi A1. The device has been priced at a pretty affordable amount and the features it provides are in line with Xiaomi’s popular low-end devices. However, can we expect the same level of performance from the Honor 9 Lite?
