Honor 9n

Honor is going to be busy next week with a big launch in China and another one in India. The one in India takes place on July 24. While we didn’t have any earlier knowledge about the device launching on that day, now Honor India has revealed it for us. Honor posted on its Twitter handle a video that the latest new handset will be the Honor 9N. The 15-second video from Honor reveals how the Honor 9N will look like.

The Honor 9N is a completely new moniker and we’re not certain what this new Honor device might have in store but from the looks of it, it might be just a rebranding of an old phone. This is nothing new for Huawei or Honor, who are known for doing the same on many occasions in the past. As for the Honor 9N, it could be a rebranded Honor 9X. Like we earlier reported, nothing has changed this time with the official teaser but just the name of the handset.

The Honor 9i (2018) does look like a very boring device from where we stand. The spec-sheet shows a Kirin 659 SoC, the same one that is on the Honor 7X, the Honor 9 Lite, the Honor 9i, and some other phones of last year. It comes with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB/128GB of storage. There’s also a micro SD card slot, as usual. The display of the Honor 9N or Honor 9X is a 5.84-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080p.
