The handset has a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC with as much as 6GB of RAM. There should be other variants too. It has a beefy 3,750mAh battery that is 400mAh bigger than last year’s model.
In the camera segment, the Honor 8X gets a 20MP primary sensor with 2MP depth sensing capability on the rear. The front, on the other hand, has a single 16MP shooter. The Honor 8X is a dual SIM device that will run Android 8.1 Oreo layered by EMUI 8.2 on top of it.
In China, the Honor 8X costs CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,900) for the base variant and that is the price we should be expecting in India. The top-end model (6GB +128GB) could cost as much as CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 20,300).
