In 2017, HTC released the U series flagship smartphones. The company launched the HTC U11 in May. Now, we have reasons to believe that the company will be announcing the HTC U12 in May 2018 as well.
An image of the HTC U12 has leaked and it showcases an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The screen has very slim bezels with the presence of a single front camera on the top bezel of the handset.
Due to slim bezels, the fingerprint scanner of the HTC U12 will be placed on the back of the panel. The Power key and the volume button is located on the right side of the handset. The USB-C charging port is at the bottom edge and the overall design is not much different from its predecessor. The device is speculated to have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with a 5.99-inch display.
This HTC flagship will sport a metal and glass design and will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset. The rear panel of the device is speculated to sport a dual camera setup. There is one feature which sets this device apart from all the other HTC phones and it is the presence of the 4K display. The Taiwanese company is meaning to ditch the 3.5mm audio jack as well.
