Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus and Enjoy Max phones launched

Huawei has launched two new budget smartphones in its home country today. The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus and Enjoy Max are the renamed versions of the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max handsets. However, in their defence, the newly branded devices have some upgraded features as well.

Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus: specifications and features

The Enjoy 9 Plus is a decent looking smartphone with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340p. There’s a notch on top and it helps in decreasing the upper bezels drastically. The performance is handled by the Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of ROM. The internal storage of the device can be expanded by up to 256GB. 

Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus launched

The rear panel of the phone is made of glossy metal and carries a vertical dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor. The rear camera setup includes 13MP + 2MP sensors with an aperture of f/1.8. The selfie snapper on the Enjoy 9 Plus has a 16MP + 2MP setup with an aperture of f/2.0. Battery wise, the device has a 4000mAh capacity and runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top. The smaller variant of the phone sells for 1,499 Yuan (Rs 16,000 approx) and it will be available for buying from October 20. The bigger variant has a cost of 1,699 Yuan (Rs 18,000 approx) and will be available for buying from October 25. 

The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus comes in four colour variants – Aurora Purple with a colour gradient, Magic Night Black, Sakura Pink and Sapphire Blue. 

Huawei Enjoy Max: specifications and features

Huawei Enjoy Max, on the other hand, carries a humongous 7.12-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2244p. The phone also has a waterdrop style notch on the top and on the bottom, we have Huawei’s logo as well. The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of expandable ROM. 

Huawei Enjoy Max launched

The phone carries a 16MP + 2MP camera setup on the back and an 8MP selfie snapper for video calls as well. Additionally, it carries a support for Dolby Atmos, Histen 5.0, dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS. The Huawei Enjoy Max has a 5000mAh battery and it also runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top. The smaller variant of the phone is priced at 1,699 Yuan (Rs 18,000 approx) while the bigger one goes for 1,999 Yuan (Rs 21,000 approx). It comes in Amber Brown, Magic Night White and Sky White colours.
