The rate at which leaks of the Mate 20 series are coming in has left nothing for Huawei to show to the public, at least not the visible part of it. We recently saw a Mate 20 Pro HD render from a case maker and today press renders have been leaked and are now making their way to famous websites across the world. The renders first reported by a German website WinFuture are quite similar to what we saw from the previous case leak. Take a look at the images below.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro Specs
As per the source, actual display size is not known yet but there has been the talk of a 6.3-inch OLED panel. The resolution maxes out at 3120 x 1440p which is a first by any flagship Huawei phone. The fingerprint is also expected to be under the screen. The display doesn’t seem to be curved nor does the source hint towards it but this puzzle will only be solved when we see the actual product. The top cutout will house face recognition sensors and notification LED apart from the obvious camera unit and earpiece.
Moving to the opposite side, the square camera cutout that boasts of a triple camera and an LED flash is now pretty much a sealed deal. Thankfully, there’s LEICA branding on top of the cutout and some details regarding the camera have been inscribed beneath it. It shows an aperture of f/1.8 to f/2.4 is mentioned along with a focal length of 16 to 80mm. Although, these are vague numbers when you don’t know the sensors. The report also states that Huawei could offer 5X optical zoom instead of the hybrid zoom on the P20 Pro.
The Mate 20 Pro has three colours here – Black, Blue, and Twilight. The Mate 20 Pro will be announced on October 16th in London.
