Huawei has officially announced that they’ll be unveiling the new Mate series phones on September 19 in Munich, Germany. Two weeks ahead of the launch, we have already got the first look of the phone in form of 5K renders. All thanks to partnership between OnLeaks and PriceBaba. Lets below take a look at the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Pro renders and the findings it offers.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro – Full Glory Look is Here
Making use of the premium glass and metal construction, just like its predecessor, the Mate 30 Pro seems to come with a notable shift in design. Starting with red panel, it houses a circular quad-camera module. The renders show camera setup is placed in 2 x 2 grid. As far as the dimensions are concerned, it measures roughly 158.1 x 73.6 x 8.7mm. The thickness goes up to 9.7mm when you include camera bump.
The front part sees sporting a waterfall display, which have been leaked through various previous reports. The screen is curved over both the edges, and appears to flow over the sides. Thus, the name, waterfall. The display size is estimated to be of 6.6-inches. The wide-display notch has been retained, unfortunately, it might irk some users, since these days companies are dropping big notch designs.
But there is a good reason for notch being huge on the Mate 30 Pro. It is said to house three selfie cameras and various sensors. The right edge could house a power button and left edge could be left bare. The bottom edge will house a SIM tray, type-C port, a microphone and speaker grill. The top edge will house an IR blaster and a secondary noise cancelling microphone.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro – Specifications
Coming to the chipset, it could pack a HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor. Notably, the brand is said to announce its new chipset on September 6 at IFA Berlin. Huawei has already released a teaser of the processor, which is believed to pack a built in 5G modem. The RAM and storage configuration is unknown.
The camera department will be the talk of the town. The primary lens is said to be of 40MP resolution with variable aperture of f/1.4-1.6 and offers RYYB pixel input. The secondary lens believed to be of 40MP and pack a 120 degree ultra wide lens. The third lens could be an 8MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom capability. The fourth lens will be a 3D ToF sensor.
As far as the selfie camera setup is concerned, there’s nothing known about it. All this could be power by a 4500mAh capacity battery. And it is rumoured to house a 25W fast wireless charging support and a 55W wired charging setup.
