Huawei could be working on the successor to its Nova 3 smartphone, which was introduced earlier this year. The affordable flagship smartphone from the house of the Chinese smartphone market is popular among users, but have overall been amiss in India, mostly due to its hefty price tag compared to the competition. Now the Nova 4 is believed to be in the pipeline as it has been spotted at a live stream event happened in China.
Huawei Nova 4 spotted in the wild
Allegedly it was Huawei who showcased its Nova 4 smartphone at the event. Let’s talk about the device. From the glimpses that were spotted by the German blog WinFuture.de, the Huawei Nova 4 could be sporting a complete bezel-less design. Yes, no notch! And this could mean a huge deal for the brand since the company has not put out a handset with a true bezel-less design.
The live-streamed video that we have mentioned can be viewed here at this LINK. When you go to the 35: 30-time stamp onwards you will see a device. Of course, with the bezel-less nature of the front, there is no way to really find out whether it is really a Huawei device or not.
But the device showcased on stage at this huge audience packed event is in-line with what Huawei is believed to be working on. A notches phone with circular camera cutout on the top left corner of the phone. Thus, basically beating Samsung’s plan for its Galaxy A8s, which is also believed to sport something similar design, which the company is calling it an Infinity-O display.
It will be interesting to see how things work out here, as Huawei and Samsung go head-to-head with their bezel-less smartphone plans. These are the two companies that are believed to take different routes to achieve the bezel-less design, unlike Vivo and OPPO.
