Huawei P20 Lite leaks in the flesh, notch and dual cameras in tow

This is another big leak pertaining to the Huawei P20 Lite after CAD renders of the handset were published online. To our relief, the Huawei P20 Lite is a much simpler device to decipher in light of the accurate leaks. This new image codenamed ‘Shirley’ makes us that much sure about the device and its specs.

The source of the images is the same as the CAD renders. Looking at the images, we’re now resigned to the fact that the notch is here to stay. Even Android P is reportedly coming with a notch integration. The Huawei P20 Lite also has one and a much smaller one than the iPhone X, if that’s any consolation.

Taking a glance at the back, the hazy picture shows a dual camera setup and a fingerprint reader. This is pretty close to the CAD renders as pretty much all details match up here. But, this time there’s even more specs info available. Also, the Huawei P20 Lite will sport a 5.6-inch display with 1080 x 2250p resolution and thin-bezels as is visible. It is set to be powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC.

Further, it’s visible in the picture that the P20 Lite runs Andriod Oreo which should accompany EMUI 8.0. As for the RAM and storage, the source tips it to house a 4GB + 64GB combo. The Huawei P20 Lite will feature a 16MP + 16MP duo of sensors that will run on a 3250mAh juice pack. As of now, only this much is known about the camera. If anything, the Huawei P20 Pro camera is the one that should come with great changes. And we’re looking forward to that.

Moreover, the premium variants of the P20 series have become a mess as rumours left and right have made a lot of confusion regarding the two phone’s cameras. The Huawei P20 series launches on March 27 at an event in Paris.
