Huawei P20 Plus 360-degree design shows triple camera and a notch

We’ve really got to give it to @OnLeaks for bringing a whole new category of news to life for bloggers. The man has not only founded the category but also perfected the art of uncovering a device before it’s launch. This year, the prolific tipster has leaked the Galaxy S9/ S9 Plus design as far as high profile flagships are concerned.

The Huawei P20 Plus would be one more trophy in his closet as the tipster has now posted a 360-degree CAD design of the Huawei flagship. Moreover, this also give us the impression that the new series will actually be called the P20. Also, the CAD renders come just days after we saw a detailed CAD of the P20 Lite.

Right off the bat, the first thing you’ll likely notice is the rear camera. The P20 Lite didn’t have a triple camera. But with Huawei itself leaving clues of a triple camera in its invites, this was to be expected. Moreover, there’s no idea as to what this trinity will be composed of. Huawei uses a duo of RGB + monochrome sensors on its devices usually. Maybe the third could be a telephoto lens.

According to the source, there are two prototypes of the Huawei P20 Plus. One of them has a physical home key at the front. However, the one we’re seeing does not and since there’s no fingerprint sensor either, this opens doors for speculation. If you’re more into dimensions than they are 155.3 x 74.2 x 7.7 mm approx. Great design or otherwise, you’ll definitely be delighted to see a headphone jack on the top side.

Finally, the Huawei P20 Plus and its two little brothers are expected to launch on March 27th, 2018 at an event in Paris.

What do you think of the triple camera setup? Will it be able to ace its dual camera counterparts? And what do you think of the iPhone X inspired notch? Let us know in the comments section.
