Last year in October, Huawei announced its smartwatch dubbed as Watch GT with kickass 14 days battery life, which is now also available for purchase in India. But today alongside its P30 and P30 Pro smartphone launches, the company has announced the two upgraded models of its Watch GT. Dubbed as Huawei Watch GT Active and Watch GT Elegant. Let’s take a look at the specifications and pricing of these watches below.
Huawei Watch GT Active specs and pricing
The new GT Active comes with an improved design and bezel patterns. Interestingly, it doesn’t much in terms of the specifications as you still get the humongous battery that claims 14 days of battery life. With a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, offering 326 ppt pixel density is just insane. It will be connected with Bluetooth 4.2 version and would be compatible with Android 4.4+ and iOS 9.0+ devices.
The watch is claimed to be 5ATM water-resistant up to 50 meters. As far as the positioning sensors concerned, it has wide support of GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO. The couple of sensors that includes 3D distance, altitude barometer, compass, features for climbing and trail running. It comes with Huawei’s TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring technology, plus Huawei’s TruSleep 2.0 for sleep tracking.
The Huawei Watch GT Active price starts at 249 Euro, which is Rs 19,000 approximately. It will be available in a range of colours with Dark Green, Orange, White, and Black Fluorolastmeter straps. Note that it is yet to go on sale. Stay tuned to Mr. Phone for updates.
Huawei Watch GT Elegant specs and pricing
The Elegant Edition of the Huawei Watch GT, on the other hand, offers similar specifications expect the battery life. It claims only 7 days of battery life. Plus, the display is at 1.2-inch compared to 1.39 on the Active. It is an AMOLED display with 390 x 390-pixel resolution. The Huawei Watch GT Elegant will retail at 229 Euro, which is Rs 17,800 approximately.
