Intex launches the budget Aqua Lions E3 smartphone for Rs 5,499 in India

Intex has launched a new budget smartphone in India. It is called the Aqua Lions E3 and comes for a price of Rs 5,499. The smartphone has been launched in association with Poojara Telecom, a prominent retail chain in Gujarat. It carries a 5-inch HD display panel with a resolution of 720 x 1280p. The phone derives its power from the Spreadtrum SC9832A quad-core processor, clocked at 1.3GHz. The processor works in association with the Mali 400 GPU.

The Aqua Lions E3 carries 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, expandable via a microSD card. The optics on the phone include an 8MP main shooter with an LED Flash and a 5MP selfie snapper. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and its update to Android Oreo looks pretty unlikely as of now.

The Aqua Lions E3 carries a 2500mAh battery with a standby time of 200 to 250 hours. The phone has been launched in a Black colour variant only. The phone is available for buying at Poojara Telecom for a price of Rs 5,999. On the other hand, Intex’s official website is selling it for Rs 6,999. The phone also has an impressive Jio cashback offer of Rs 2,200.
